Disposition: Snarky with a bit of smart-a** on the side. Having grown up with three older brothers, she learned how to take care of herself. She tends to speak to Remmy, her familiar in baby-speak, but few comment on it for fear of reprisal.

Background Story:

Despite having the Mark of Hospitality, Wanda found it difficult to maintain a position with any reputable Inn or tavern. Without saying so, she knew that the Innkeepers thought of her as "unsanitary" simply because her familiar happened to be a rat. After her last employer yelled at her for having Remmy out during peak dinner rush, she summoned a small swarm of rats and set them loose in the taproom. Knowing that it would be a long while before she would find reputable work again, she decided to take to the road and try to earn enough money to open her own restaurant and inn.

This is a tentative NPC I threw together for fun.

It is subject to Pat's approval and change, so feel free to comment on it and let me and him know what you think.

Just on a side note, I told Pat that I was going to name her "Wanda" since she would basically be a walking wand of Cure Light Wounds (CLW). I wasn't really going to do that, but once I saw "Wanda d'Ghallanda", I couldn't resist.

She's a witch with the Healing Hex, which means that she can cast CLW on any person once a day -- yes, that means one CLW for each person in the party -- without expending a spell. She has CLW on her spell list, but can only cast it once a day if she wants to have her Mage Armor up. Also, if Adriana manages to borrow a wand of CLW from her Favored in House Feat, then Wanda can use it without having to worry about a Use Magic Device check.

If Pat approves, then this is someone we can all write into our posts willy-nilly as well.

He doesn't cook, but there was definitely some inspiration in there. One of the names I considered for the witch was Colette, but I dismissed it because:

1. I just didn't like the name that much, and
   
2. I liked the name "Wanda d'Ghallanda" WAY too much. <G>
